The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry collected data, then handed our case off to the Minnesota Attorney General - at that time it was Skip Humphrey. The AG's office went to battle and won our back pay. Of course Chafoulias Management felt they didn't need to pay what they promised to pay employees, what they collected on behalf of employees, and what the administrative law judge ordered - so they appealed.
The Minnesota Court of Appeals affirmed our ruling. One step closer to getting the money we worked for.
Here's what the State of Minnesota calulated as my back pay. It only took 4 years to get paid, and we never got a dime in interest. I wonder how muc Chafoulias Management and Chafoulias Properties earned off our money in those four years?
